In your water. 

In your air. 

Today DDT is banned. 

The reason? 

Rachel Carson. 

In 1962 she wrote this book. 

Her efforts before the book were failing. 

She went to the public. 

The public read her cry for help. 

And understood her plea. 

And their eyes were opened to her incredible research. 

And together they got something done. 

We have more than DDT today. 

This book and historical record however sets the precedence for what can be done.

If the food, air, and water that continues to be polluted today concerns you at all, read this book. 

In my opinion, it's a must.
