Native American Herbalist's Bible - Laghari

Native American Herbalist's Bible

By: Aiyana Laghari

Can you imagine living in a world where you're so connected with the nature all around you, the nature inside of you, that when something in the external or internal environment feels out of balance, you know exactly what to do? Where to turn?

Other than God, of course.

It seems, the Native Americans lived in this way.

And they knew, intimately, the power of the plants.

More specifically, the power of plants living amongst them.

Being around them day and night.

Hearing stories of the elders tell tales of great struggle and how they worked with the plants in their lives to regain strength and vigor.

How lucky were they to have such a deep knowledge, understanding, and respect for this magical place we call Earth?

These beautiful things called plants?

And the places we now call home.

This book is the perfect beginners intro into not only herbalism, but also the most basic understanding of the plants that continue to thrive all around us in North America.

The plants which exist not merely for beauty and oxygen, but also to help us in times of great need and hardship.

We can learn all about the plants of the world, studying them as medicine already harvested, processed, packaged, and ready to ship to our home - yes, this can be extremely helpful to us - yet, the journey towards understanding the plants in our backyard, our town, our region, in their wholeness...it's like going to explore our own heart, becoming familiar with our most immediate family, neighbors and community members. Getting to know the most intimate helpers that we may have been overlooking and thanklessly ignored our entire lives.

There's something extra special that happens when we do this.

Happy reading. :-)
